Rachel Kharen M. Jaranilla is the daughter of Maximiano Jaranilla and Virginia Jaranilla.

She was born at Tagoloan Misamis Oriental and currently living at Maramag Bukidnon.

Her siblings are Micheal Jaranilla, Cheryl Jaranilla, Sharon Jaranilla, Harris Jaranilla, Joan Mabe Jaranilla, Hayde Jaranilla, Geneva Jaranilla, Melchor Jaranilla, and Margie Jaranilla.

She studied at Tagoloan National High School and formerly worked as a Production Worker at Anakciano Incorporated.

She is currently working as a DH at Kuwait and according to her it is not an easy job, like any other work you need to get along with people specially your boss, and you need to adapt. Her employer is currently expecting another baby, so she is also expecting more challenging days ahead.

She said she is just fortunate that her employers are not abusive. She is an avid follower of OFW Kalingawan and other FB members who posts horror stories of OFW workers who are being abused by their employers and asking for help to be able to go home. She is very conscious about these things.

As of this writing she has been there for one year and four months already. She said that initially her impression of working abroad is better than working here in the Philippines especially when she sees her OFW friends, but in her experience, it is not.

Aside from watching comedy movies and ViralFox Videos, she also loves boybands like A1 and Westlife particularly Ben Adams.

According to her, she is “simple lang and mahirap” (simple and poor) but for me I can say that she is one of the humblest Jaranilla I met online.

Oh, and she loves taking selfies also. :D
